So though I'm still on my weekend off (my rest days from work are Sundays-Mondays) this is already turning out to be an awesome awesome week.
First, I had a blast yesterday and you could read all about my fun day under the sun. I will be posting pictures tonight so check back for those too.
Next is finding out that my ever beautiful SIS is back in town! Yay yay! Yup, she whose comment on my tag board belongs to has been away for a LOOOONG time. I think it was on my birthday that I saw her last? Not even a Christmas or New Year's visit!
So I can smell a get-together lunch or dinner with the girls very soon. But, if it proves difficult to coordinate schedules, I'll go for a one-on-one with Chelle anytime!
Wow, I hope all weeks start this way for me. I need all the positivity to flow right through me.
Zune is finally well. My mom reported that he ate all of the food in his bowl last night and though I still see food left over from his breakfast, I know he will eat again at midday. Yesterday, he bounded up the stairs and woke up my parents for his morning walk. His poopsie isn't too soft anymore either.
Thank you so much to the kind doctor at All About Pets.
We still haven't given him a bath though, maybe tomorrow. I don't think he needs to go through the stress of hairpulling and haircutting so soon.
I had about 13 hours of slumber last night - straight. Boyfriend was playing his online game on his laptop next to me and I didn't even notice when he moved me to get to his side of the bed when he turned in to call it a night. I was dead asleep since I didn't tuck in (not even a wink) after work on Sunday morning.
We had a full breakfast with fried rice and ma-ling this morning. As usual, Alfred prepared everything. It made me wonder if I'd be like Richard's wife when boyf and I get married and really live together? He told us weeks ago how his wife gets up in the morning when he does and prepares his breakfast before he goes to work. He didn't say so, but I think his point was that she was sweet that do that because she doesn't have to. And I don't think she needs to get up early too. He joked and said that the question was how long would she continue doing that? (They got married in December)
I know Alfred would so love for me to do that, but I really don't cook. And he knows it. I am content with bread or cereal in the morning while he really would prefer a full meal. Here at home, we don't always have big breakfasts, usually on weekends when my dad is in the mood to cook or buy something. I guess I could learn to do that. In time.
It's 227pm - bed time. I am sleepy, I can feel it, yet I don't want to sleep yet. On other days, I so would want to sleep but it eludes me. Yesterday though, I slept within a minute of sitting on the couch. Yes, I slept while seated on the couch. Good thing my brother steadied the fan directly at me, so at least it wasn't hot. I woke up about 6 or 7 hours, changed from my jeans to a pair of shorts here, then moved to the bigger sofa. Had another 2 hours of sleep
Oh, I haven't posted about the latest book I read - Steve Berry's The Third Secret. To be honest, the climax wasn't very climactic. I don't know, maybe because I'm not Catholic so it wasn't at all a shock. It was a good read though and it deserves a dedicated post. haha.
Boyf did is not going to have his Sunday-Monday off like he thought he would.
I really don't like the fact that we don't really have much common time to do things together, specially the past two weeks. I do hope things will turn around next week. I really don't want to stay in the night shift anymore!
