Since this is my first Thursday Thirteen, let me just go through the basics

1. ~ i will be turning 25 on july 22

2. ~ i'm a psychology major who has totally forgotten any theory i learned in college

3. ~ i belong(ed) to a young people's organization called Young People Against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (YP-ACSEC)

4. ~ i am still disappointed that YP-ACSEC is no longer the active organization of young people who are doing something concrete for other children and teens

5. ~ i have never really celebrated a Valentine's with my partner. it was always a day dedicated to my grandma who's birthday is feb14. we've always had a family dinner on her bday.

6. ~ this year is grandma's second birhday that she's no longer with us. we still gathered round to honor her memory and celebrate love with the rest of the family.

7. ~ i spend an average of 11 hours in front of a computer at any given workday. about 9 hours when i'm at work, and about 2 hours when i get home.

8. ~ on my mother's side of the family, i have 4 nieces aged 5 to 11 and 3 nephews aged 1, 3 and 4. i can't imagine life without these kids. i miss them when i'm out of town.

9. ~ i'm a daddy's girl but i've developed a good relationship with my mom too as a i grew older. it's not a girlfriend type of relationship but we're ok. and i never fight with my parents

10. ~ i'm not a punctual person. i'm a buzzer-beater, often late. i thought i have cured myself of this problem until i started getting to work 1-3 mins late several times these past couple of weeks. never again!

11. ~ i don't think i will ever be rich, unless i win the lottery.

12. ~ violet is my favorite color but i've noticed that i currently have nothing violet or purple in my closet. except the clothes organizer and clear pockets on the closet itself.

13. ~ i've always been good with words but lately i've found myself challenged when trying to articulate my thoughts
